High Ground Stocks after the Blue Tsunami

Welcome to the Schmoozeletter Blog. Your source for weekly water cooler wisecracks from the world of finance. If you have an opinion different than mine or a topic you want to hear about, let me know!

This week, we’re talking about:

High Ground Stocks after the Blue Tsunami

Another wild week in the world of Wall Street!

The blue tsunami hit, sending stocks surging, only to be hit with a flood of red selling destruction the very next day.

Where can we find the best opportunities amid a sapphire seismic wave?

This is…

High Ground Stocks after the Blue Tsunami

When searching for high ground stocks, you want to look low.

Buy Low.  Sell High.

Simple as could be.

And yet, it goes against human nature.

The exciting investments people want to talk about and join in on are the ones that are UP!

I see this all the time as a justification for an investment:

“Why did you buy that?”

“Because it was up 500% in the past two years!”

We want stocks that have sold off strictly on the negative narrative. We want stocks with strong fundamentals at a cheaper price.

The Dems are in charge, meaning all data center building will immediately grind to a screeching halt!

Oh yeah.

The big companies still need data centers. They are simply moving them to different states or overseas.

Translation: the chips will still be flowing.

Which leads us to our first stock:

NVDA - NVIDIA Corporation

The chip king has been absolutely blasted this month.

But growth certainly isn’t slowing down.

Even if NVDA’s growth is half of what’s expected over the next few years, this is looking like an extremely attractive price.

META - Meta Platforms, Inc

The house that Zuck built has been absolutely blasted this month.

But growth certainly isn’t slowing down.

If META’s growth is even close to what’s expected over the next few years, this is looking like an extremely attractive price.

GOOG – Alphabet Inc.

The company that just dropped some spooky earnings has been absolutely blasted this month.

But growth certainly isn’t slowing down.

If GOOG’s growth is even close to what’s expected over the next few years, this is looking like an extremely attractive price.

"But Dave, this is so boring! These are some of the biggest, most profitable, most boring picks in the stock market!"

Hit 'em with it, Warren.

Final Thought
